Green World Trust has organized filed visit to Horton Plains National Park (HNP) to celebrate International Mountain Day 2015.
This filed visit was organized under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Kalinga Padmalal.During the 3-day (2 nights) filed visit participants were able to acquire knowledge about importance of mountains, importance of HNP and biodiversity of HNP etc.
Special guest lecture and nature trail was conducted by Mr. Rajitha Gamage, freelance researcher (especially in the filed of butterfly’s) about butterflies of the HPN
